Sicilian style in Tuscany

If you know me you got how much I love to match every single detail of the wedding together with the others.

I like so much Villa di Catignano in Siena for its Mediterranean soul, and I’ve always dreamt about a Sicilian style set up for a wedding in there. Who said Tuscany has nothing to do with ceramics, lemons, and vintage lace?

A wedding in Tuscany can be anything you want, that’s my first rule. the second one says that your destination wedding in Tuscany can be anything you really appreciate and anything reflects your unique wishes. That’s the big why of the name “Unique Events in Tuscany” – the second reason is purely SEO matters lol!

The idea

Back to this styled shoot. I started creating the mood board from an idea. I wanted to bring Sicily, the south of Italy and its passion, colors and smells in Tuscany.
Villa di Catignano in Siena were the perfect place. There are lemon trees everywhere. Each spot is perfect for a vintage mediterranean ceremony and we chose an ancient door in the middle of the big patio.

That’s been the most handcrafted styled shoot. I made my self (with the help of my father) the bar counter with blue and yellow majolicas and the chargers with the white and blue Italian pottery.

The outfits are authentic and vintage and tailor made from a talented lady based in Florence. The jewelry is fine art from Florentine school and we went for gold ones to enhance the skin tone of the bride (authentically from the South of Italy!)
